My "step-daughter" just turned 6 and is in kindergarten. Her parents were seperated a couple years ago but finalized the divorce last year. She is still having a really hard time dealing with it. I was looking for some story books that could help explain things to her at her level of thinking.

There are a lot of good books (see the link below) but it might also help if she can talk to a friend whose parents are divorced.

Check major book stores. You can look in-store in the children's section or online. There are tons of books for children 4-8 about divorce on barnesandnoble.com. Hope this helps.

When my parents got divorced when I was 5, I didn't really get it, but my mom took me to a church where they held a children's class for children with divorced parents.
