Atari comes to mind. Also leg warmers(my fav in the 80's). Original Nintendo or Colecovision. Snail mail. Cassette Tapes. 8 Track tapes. Oddly enough you can still find working ones. Headbands and wrist warmers. Spiked bangs!!!!

Parachute pants(M.C. Hammer style). Sunglasses that look like vertical blinds. Good Luck and dont get to stuck in the past!!!

is that what they were called ..rotary phones. took me a minute. Figured it out. My kids are blown away we had no mobile phones and that I was 8 before I saw my first video player (9 or 10 till we got one) The other day I was asked did they have electricity when I was little. I'm 32 !!!!!! And a sprinkler! What's that??? Well they know what it is but they only got to play under one once when they were 2. They really only remember it because of a photo. We have been in drought for 10 years here (Melbourne) and 6 years ago sprinklers were banned. Sadly anyone born in the last 8 years will never know the joy of running under a sprinkler and probably don't even know what one is.

I just read some of the others. Our original Nintendo just packed it in so they know that. Handwashing dishes!!!Mine have never really seen a dishwasher and like me would have no idea how to stack one let alone start it. We still use cassettes as well as cd's though records...what's that they asked when they saw one. They send letters to their friends through the post as well as emails, we have a t.v without a remote as well as one with. We have many videos. My daughter has many tops that are hand washing so they know what that is. Make biscuits from scratch all the time (is there any other way?)they have slinky's. So I guess all is not lost, mind you we were down the street and they saw a phone box, "what's that?" they asked. When I explained they asked why people didn't just use their mobile phone. No wonder Ausralia leads the world in more mobile phones per capita than anywhere else.

Hi there. Put whipping cream in small jars with lids and have them shake them until they get butter. Get a simple sugar cookie recipe and have them use cookie cutters and decoration with icing and sprinkles. Make a gingerbread house. Have a taffy pull. Make sock puppets using glue for the design of the faces. Make smores around a camp fire. Get magazines and pictures and make a huge collage. Have fun.

hmmmmm....i'm attempting to imagine what I were given...OH! I were given some tremendous mocassin boots. in case you do not already have boots, ask for some. ask for a watch. do not ask your pals to purchase you too expensive issues. ask them for a present card. Yeah, those are going round alot, even though it would not extremely count number number. it is a few thing that you received't ought to take lower back in case you don't like. also, bypass out for pizza with them. it is a birthday manage that maximum all and sundry will have a good time with. bypass on a procuring spree. Get some tremendous low-cost rings. ask for a headscarf. a hat, some mittens. too boring for you? ask for a CD. in case you imagine about it, you should even ask for a mega sized bag of sweet it is what i ought to have loved in the previous my tooth fell out. :D

Black and White TV and only one in the house. No such thing as a microwave or cable TV or PC's or video games. Every mom stayed home and most households only had one car. Albums.
