Question:
Does anyone out there have children with disabilitys?

I know there are parents out there with children with disabilitys, But I would like to know how they cope with differnt situatations. I have a son with them and would just like someone to talk to. someone who understand or that can give me some pointers. thank you.

My son has a form of Autism. He is still very functionable but yet still restricted. He learns very slow. He is highly emotional. He has a very high sensitivity to touch.

Between his Special Ed teachers and my & I we do the best we can.

My son is 7 and has developmental disabilities, aspergers syndrome and behavior problems. We cope with everything from the great to the small some days we do it well and some days we dont but every day is a fresh start and we dust off get up and try some more. i have a multihandicapped 10yr old son.he has had open heart surgery,a cardiac cath,a stroke at 6 wks of age leaving him 75% brain damaged to the left side and 25%to the right. he has CP affecting the right side,scoliosis,braced for both,can hear/understand,not talk,as a family we are llearning ASL. i take 1 day at a time and look at every accomplishment as a milestone. my e-mail lis robin_thor2000@yahoo.com
