No worries mom...you can use this link. Even when school starts.
He is at the age where a lot of kids go through their 'im gonna be picky' stage. Most kids grow out of this, by the time they hit 12-13 years old. I ate 99% of what was put in front of me and so did my sister. My little bro was the picky one and he still is for the most part and he is in his 20's. He eats like maybe 6-7 things with the main thing being Tom Raman noodles and then Pot stickers. He only like ketchup on his cheeseburgers. Like I said, for most kids its just a phase and they outgrow it before they hit their teens, but not my bro. He is still picky with a capital 'P'.
Just one question I have for you. What do you mean you can't cook ground beef? You do realize that a monkey could do that right? All you do is crumple up the ground beef and throw it in a pan and let it brown. Your kid could've been eating hamburger helper a long time ago, you realize that right? Im just surprised you don't know how to cook ground beef. I don't do that much cooking and even I could do that.

One of my favorite websites for recipes is http://www.foodnetwork.com I also like http://www.recipezaar.com You can try pigs in a blanket... take crescent rolls, put half a slice of cheese and a hot dog in it, then roll it up. Cook it in the oven according to the directions on the crescent rolls. My kids love Stauffer's meals, too... express meals you can do in the microwave or on the stove top with VERY minimal effort. If you can follow a recipe, you can do these. They're found in the freezer section. I'm not quite sure why you can't brown hamburger... just don't turn the heat too high under the pan, and crumble it up with a big spoon or spatula. Maybe you've got a friend who could come help you and give you a few tips and lessons. Good luck!

Get your son involved. Go through cookbooks, get him to shop for the food and help cook the meal. Kids that are involved in the process are more likely to eat it.
My 10 year old (fussy) boys favourites
spaghetti
lasagna
Korma curry (??? why I have no idea but it is a new taste he has acquired so I am happy)
chicken noodle bake
roasts
meat and vegetables.

Make things with him, that's usually fun I have a 10 year old son and I cook with both my kids because it's one of the many activities we like to do together. We make pizza, grilled cheese, subs, pancakes, soup, tuna melts, chili, chicken tacos, french toast, bagels and lox, and lots of other things you could probably find a website. Cooking with your kids is so much fun and a great way to introduce them to new foods. McDonald's is HORRID, my kids have never eaten a bit of it in their lives.
