I agree with Yahooligans! http://yahooligans.yahoo.com/ It's set as the homepage for my daughter's internet account. And, you can find some of the coolest stuff from their search engine!
Another site my daughter enjoys is http://www.kidscom.com/ -- I really like it because the website requires a parent's signature physically on file for the kiddos to participate. Also, they have "chat rooms" for the kids. All conversations are monitored as they happen by KidsCom.com's staff of trained adult chat monitors. Private messaging between kids is not allowed. KidsCom.com Kids are not permitted to share any information that will personally identify them. If they do share personally identifiable information or ask another kid for that information, they will be kicked off KidsChat. I really like that! Makes me feel safer when allowing her to play on that website.

www.yahooligans.com
it will lead you to ALL the top childrens sites available.
also, its a place the kids can use on their own because it has a search engine made just for kids. the kids can put in what they want and it will ONLY direct them to kid friendly sites.
plus, its got a lot of educational, fun and games sites

Depends on what you are looking for what do you want them to be able to do there? is it for you or your kids and how old are they? you should have been more specific, However I have four kids the older ones don't play here and the younger ones are 5 they really like
